You can choose some of your favourite classes as well as try some new ones; take a stroll around the village or a hike, if that’s what you fancy, and spend time with friends and meet other like-minded people.

Soaking up the views and sounds of the surrounding countryside is a real tonic for the soul. With welcoming teachers and lovely countryside you will leave on Sunday with some new experiences, feeling refreshed and rejuvenated, ready to face the world again.

The venue
Castleton Losehill  Hall is a refurbished Gothic mansion set in 27 acres of parkland in the heart of the Peak District National Park.

With beautiful gardens to explore and with one of the area’s most charming  villages a few minutes walk away, this is a lovely venue where you can switch off and unwind, soaking up the views of rolling hills and open spaces.

Castleton is a pretty village in the Peak District National Park. It is a popular destination for walkers and cyclists alike & has several pubs serving great food, coffee shops and a variety of local shops.

Local attractions include Peverill Castle, one of England’s earliest Norman fortresses; the famous Blue John Cavern as well as Speedwell cavern where you can take an underground boat journey …

Pick ‘n’ mix your classes
There is a selection of classes to choose from over the course of the weekend:

  • Yoga: all levels
  • Pilates: all levels
  • Stretch 
  • HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training)
  • Self-defence skills
  • Boxing Basics (using pads).
  • Kickboxing for fitness

After booking your place you will be asked which 4 classes you would most like to join. The more popular classes will be scheduled twice or more according to interest. The timetable will be finalised at the start of February.
You will be able to join additional classes if there is availability on the day.

Pilates works the deep stabilising muscles to improve  strength and posture. It has a strong mind/body connection, involving precise moves and specific breathing techniques. It increases body awareness which encourages more efficient and graceful movement.

This is a wonderful refreshing tonic for the whole body. It helps keep muscles flexible, strong, and healthy. Flexibility allows us to maintain a range of motion in the joints, otherwise muscles can easily shorten and become tight.  Regular deep stretching enhances our physical performance and helps reduce risks of injury. Releasing tension and knots through stretching the body also feels really good!

This is a combination of Sivananda and Ashtanga yoga. Tony has an inclusive teaching style, guiding beginners & non-beginners through a flow of poses and sequences that will improve flexibility, stamina & strength, enhancing posture & encouraging a sense of well-being.

This is a High Intensity Interval Training class in which you give one hundred percent effort through quick, intense bursts of exercise, followed by short recovery periods. This keeps your heart rate up and burns more fat in less time.

This is aimed at people who want to challenge themselves. But don’t be scared – Cilla will only encourage you to do what you can!

Boxing and Kickboxing for fitness

Putting on boxing gloves and hittingthe pads is very satisfying for beginners and non-beginners alike. You will practise classic punches hitting a boxing pad – not another person! Taught in a very safe environment, these classes are technical as well as a lot of fun . You will definitely leave feeling energised, and probably wondering where all the time has gone…

Safety is paramount in all of our classes. Our teachers have decades of experience and you can be assured that you will be taught in a very safe environment.

This introductory class will cover the fundamentals of awareness and self-defence – how to avoid confrontation and be aware of signs of trouble. You will learn some basic and effective physical self-defence moves that anyone can employ, whatever your strength or size. Thats makes it sound very serious, but it’s really good fun  – a great introduction that Tony makes enjoyable as well as practical!

Our instructors
We have two fantastic teachers taking the classes – both with a huge amount of experience and talent – who will make you feel welcome whether you are a complete beginner or more experienced.

Sensei Tony Mousah is a highly experienced instructor and a 5th Dan black belt who has been practising martial arts for 35 years & teaching yoga for over 15 years. He is the striking coach to Brendan Loughnane, a lightweight MMA champion ranked amongst the top in Europe & one of the UK’s most explosive striking MMA fighters.


This weekend  is designed for people who want to try a selection of classes they may never have tried before and curious to see what they are like, as well as perhaps take a class they already love.

Combining classes of your choice with free time in the countryside means you can tailor the weekend as you prefer –  more on the energetic side or more relaxed and slow-paced.

There is no judgement and everyone is welcome – alternatives are offered throughout classes, making them suitable for most people whatever your level of fitness and experience.

What’s Included
Accommodation for two nights; up to four classes of your choice (more subject to space on the day); a meal on Friday evening; a full hot and cold English breakfast both mornings; refreshments throughout the weekend; use of all facilities including a bar; restaurant; a modern self-catering kitchen and dining room; comfortable lounges and social areas as well as beautiful grounds.

You are welcome to check in from 3pm on Friday and check out is at 10am on Sunday (Check out can also be arranged for 12 noon). The first class will be early Friday evening, with a welcome meal at 7.30 / 8pm. Classes will be scheduled before breakfast, mid morning and late afternoon & early evening, with the last class finishing by lunchtime on Sunday.

No classes are scheduled for Saturday lunchtime and afternoon when there will be free time to explore the local area or go for a walk.


Accommodation is mostly in shared rooms (bunk beds) for 2, 3 or 4 people, with most rooms being en-suite.

Prices are  £189 – £239 p.p. based on full occupancy in the accommodation chosen.
